UCLA-UCSB Deployment Approved for Go-Live

Date: 08-31-2018

On August 30, UC President Janet Napolitano, UCLA Chancellor Gene Block and UC Santa Barbara Chancellor Henry Yang approved the upcoming UCPath deployment at both campuses. This approval was informed by a series of readiness assessments and ratifies the “go” decision made by executive sponsors - Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff Rachael Nava and Chief Financial Officer Nathan Brostrom, UCLA Vice Chancellor Michael Beck and UC Santa Barbara Faculty Advisor Joel Michaelsen.

This is an important milestone for UCPath, which is already in production at four UC locations. Cutover activities begin today for the UCLA and UC Santa Barbara transition to UCPath and will take about four weeks to complete. As UCLA and UC Santa Barbara project teams make their final go-live preparations, the UCPath Center has ramped up operations to serve more than 60,000 employees at these two locations.
